The first time I saw "Sound Of The Underground" on tv back in 2002 I was pleasantly surprised by this quirky song... it stood out from all other music at that time.
I didn't know about the Popstars contest, so Girls Aloud were completely new to me.
When "No Good Advice" came out, it totally blew me away.
I hadn't heard such self-willed, self-assertive music in a long time.
After "Life Got Cold" and "Jump" Girls Aloud were unseen and unheard in The Netherlands.
That is still a complete mystery to me... they have sooooo much more than most groups.
Their cd's aren't even in distribution... I had to import them!
What has always appealed to me is Girls Aloud's natural way of singing and the quirky blend of musical styles.
Their voices have great personality and fit together perfectly.
Being a musician and sound-engineer I feel very much attracted to the playful song-writing and production of Girls Aloud.
They really stand out and are unlike any other group.

Since the singles were not available over here, I feel very content with the Singles Box Set... all the B-sides and Rarities are marvellous and there's a lot of interesting remixes.

(The name "ChoclitBunny" originated from my mind some years ago, and I liked it. I made it my username for internet sites.

Hey! I can help, as I've been on this site for aaaaaaaaages lol!
First of all, you get a badge depending on how many posts you've posted. The more posts you post, the higher the chance you will get a badge. I have two badges and I have posted thousands of comments lol!
Secondly, the fanalysis is what other members of the site are on right now. So if the image gallery section is the biggest, then most members are looking at the gallery.
I don't know what image tags are for, sorry!
And finally, to get in touch with other uses on the site, just click on their username on other users wall, image comments, and news comments. To get started, just click on my username, 'ilovenicola' as many users have written on my page, so you will be able to visit them via my page, and visit more users via their pages, so it's like a network if you get what I mean.

Same! I have pale skin, but not natural red hair, even though I SO want it! In the early days it did, because all Nicola's bandmates were tanned and didn't have red hair, so she felt pressured to fit in. I'm so glad she's gone back to her old self! :)

Haha lol! Same, I've seen even more pictures of Nicola herself, and I even have a signed poster! And yeah, I understand, it's fine. No, I just mean any profile picture, like just of Girls Aloud or a member. You could just get a picture online and upload it to your profile! Just click 'Edit' at the top of your profile, then click 'Browse' underneath the picture, then get the picture you have saved (you will have had to save a picture off the internet) and then click Upload. It may take some time for your picture to show up! Hope I helped! xxx

I wish to return to my comment of 06.09.11 where I complained about the lay-out of the site being ugly.
I tend to make nasty remarks when things are not going the way I want to.
Now I select the right photo everytime I visit the site, which gives a white background. And I think I'm familiar with the routing now. I'm actually quite content with the site, so all uglyness has vanished.

Hi! Sorry I wasn't on the site last night, I went to the cinema with my friend to see the Smurfs lol! It was SO funny! XD I hate the heat, but I'm glad you like it. I'll take a look at the footage in a minute! And no, I don't have the singles box set, do you? I have the Girls Aloud CD 'Mixed Up, though, which includes eight of their most popular singles (The Show, No Good Advice, I Think We're Alone Now, Sexy! No no no..., Something Kinda Ooooh, Wake Me Up, Jump and Biology) all mixed up and edited to create smashing tunes! And yes, I do live in the centre of a city, but I do love the outdoors - going for a walk while listening to my iPod is one of my favourite hobbies! Yes, her military jacket is very nice.
I received piano lessons when I was 8, 9 years of age. At 16 I took guitar lessons and later on taught myself to play bassguitar. At that time I "toyed" with guitar things on piano, which was nice. But I haven't played piano for centuries... it's a nice instrument, depends on who's playing and what.
I always enjoy reading your comments and I've seen your reactions to some of my comments. You really are an amazing girl... I reckon you're a very inquisitive, open-minded, energetic person with loads of interests and love for many things, great!

I know, I SO want it! I love the piano, it can have such a soft gentle sound yet it can be harsh and loud too. I am so proud that I can play the piano, and I love listening to piano music too. And thank you - I like to be enhtusiastic about life and many things in life. I think I have 'my fingers in different pies!' And shivers can mean a positive way, because you can get goosebumps, like you said as well as meaning you get shivers when you are cold or frightened. xxx

Thanks for the explanation about "shivers". But this means that it's not obvious what you mean when you say that someone's voice gives you shivers... Are there more words to express when you are touched by someone's voice, when you get this feeling in your throat and heart and tears in your eyes...?

@ChoclitBunny - I'm absolutely shattered this evening, we had to do school inter-house cross country and it was two miles - may not sounds like much, but it was really tiring! But I'm really proud of myself, because I came 18th out of 75 other girls, and I'm the smallest in my year, so they are a lot bigger than me! However being small has an advantage, because I don't have a lot of weight to carry around. And I don't play video games. Do you? xxx

I'm very fond of Nintendo 64. I had no experience with videogames whatsoever, when in september 2001 I played N64 at my nephew's, fell in love with it, and purchased a Nintendo 64 set. Soon I found out that N64 was introduced in 1996 and to be succeeded by the GameCube in 2002. So I was able to buy great games for bargain prices.
I love the stylistic, colourful and playful style of Nintendo 64 games, and the music in my favourite games is excellent, very quirky! Other formats/consoles don't appeal to me.
What's the difference between :-) and XD ?

It's when everyone in the school runs a race (there are different categories btw) and the place that you finish has a certain amount of points attached to it, and those points go towards your house. And unfortuantely maybe I did force myself, because I am knackered! So glad it's half term on Friday, and we get two weeks off! I used to have a DS Lite, but then I gave it away. :-) is just a smiley face, but XD is like a laughing face, because the X is like screwed up eyes, if you get what I mean. xxx

Howdy, thanks for reply. Do you like plain milk chocolate, or with nuts? And do you have a favourite brand or country? My favourite is plain white chocolate from Germany. I wonder what brands of energy drinks are available in UK... I don't like Red Bull, but there's a number of cheap brands that are delicious, and they're Dutch. What brands do you have in your country?

As you can read in my profile, it bothers me that others are using my name too. In theory it's possible that the name originates in more people's minds, but I think that's unlikely. I've seen some even use the same way of writing, one word with 2 capitals... I think that's no coincidence.

Hiya, how ya doin'...? Hope you are doing well now that you're 2 weeks off school. I'm glad you enjoy Stardoll. I've taken a short peek when you first mentioned it, and it seems like a nice and playful site to me. So there´s a choclitbunny on that site as well...?
The other day you mentioned Lucozade and Powerade, but those are sport drinks, not energy drinks... there's a difference in ingredients. I don't like them either, just like Extran and AA they don't do me good, they make me feel bloated and leave a sticky feeling in my throat.
Like I said, I don't like Red Bull, but other brands like Golden Power, Mega Force, Blue Bastard and Bullit are on my menu, but they're Dutch, and I don't know if they're available in the UK.

I'm fine thanks, you? And Stardoll is very good, but there's a darker side to it: many members are hackers and will do anything to get into other member's accounts that contain so called 'Rare' items and 'elite' memberships and all that, but I stay away from that. Anyway, there are no members on Stardoll with the username 'ChoclitBunny' even though there are over 130 million members on Stardoll! I don't know the difference between sport drinks and energy drinks, but I don't like drinks from either categories. And I've never heard of those energy drinks, so they must be unavailable in the UK. Haha, I like the sound of those games! When I had a DS I had Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart. I have Mario Kart on Wii too. xxx

Hey ilovenicola, what's up? If you have the chance to play these games, it's worth it. Maybe one of your friends has a N64 set?
Mario Party 2 has all its music directly available in the options menu. Diddy Kong Racing has a cheat code (jukebox) that opens a music menu in the options menu. In Mickey's Speedway USA you can turn off the sound effects, so only the music remains. If you start a race, you will hear the music to that track.
Moreover, these games are very well made.
And I never celebrate such days... I think you're right, it's a load of commercialised rubbish.

Hi, so you really enjoy school... I already got that impression from you, that's very positive! I did enjoy bits and pieces of highschool, but my gender problem was keeping me busy subconsciously... I was very occupied with how I looked, my clothes, my hair, you know...?
Yeah, Christmas is okay to be with family or friends, as long as you don't get dragged along by all the commercial crap.
Btw, when I purchased "Chemistry" when it came out in 2005, it was one cd. Later I found out there is a Christmas cd with it. A few months ago I managed to get a copy of it... at first I liked it, of course, but now I'm totally in love with this album! Brilliant songs, the girls sing incredibly beautiful (it really touches me) and it sounds superb, very organic, very coherent.
Yesterday I read on the tv text news that we are now with 7 billion... ayay, that's an awful lot of folks, isn't it...!?

Yes, I LOVE school! I have a lot more fun and I'm a lot busier at school. And I understand about that, yes. I don't usually pay attention to the commercial aspect of Christmas, and I think it really spoils it when shops bring out Christmas-related things months before the actual event! Chemistry is a good album - is the edition you're talking about the one that comes with a CD of Girls Aloud singing Christmas songs? I have listened to that edition, and it's well good! 7 billion people is a lot, but in theory there is enough space, food and water on the planet to satisfy every human being, it's just not shared out or distributed fairly. xxx

I've dived into two of my N64 games - haven't played them for a while, and still haven't finished them. It's not easy... gameplay always becomes harder towards the end, but it's great fun, and the games and their music are gorgeous!
